Lorcan Clarke is an intern at the Center for Global Development, supporting the global health policy work of Kalipso Chalkidou and Cassandra Nemzoff in the CGD Europe office. Clarke is a MSc candidate in International Health Policy (Health Economics) at the London School of Economics and Political Science. Prior to joining CGD, Clarke worked on disaster risk reduction and universal health coverage at the Overseas Development Institute and Public Health England. At the Pan American Health Organization in Washington, DC, he supported programs focused on improving capacities in research for health and addressing socioeconomic inequities. Clarke also holds a BA in Economics and History from Trinity College Dublin.
