Ramiro Sugranes was an intern for Liliana Rojas-Suarez, focusing on financial access and stability research. Sugranes is currently pursuing his master’s in International Economics and Finance from Johns Hopkins University SAIS. Prior to joining CGD, he worked as a research assistant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign where his work focused on the role of regulatory institutions and political price cycles in regulated industries. Sugranes graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2017 with a BA in economics.
